Ride Details

Beginning in the heart of the Red River Valley of the North, riders will cycle past rich grain fields and enjoy the vast beauty of plains that seem to go on forever. As the route angles westward, the flatlands are punctuated by the rolling beaches of glacial Lake Agassiz. The tour continues into the beautiful Sheyenne River Valley. If you like a challenge, however, don’t worry, the wind will probably accommodate you. A century ride option will be available on Tuesday for adventurous riders seeking extra miles as well. Riders will also experience the beauty of Lake Ashtabula, north of Valley City. The rolling terrain of this region of North Dakota gives riders yet another view of the idyllic countryside. Overnights on the tour will be spent in welcoming host communities throughout the area, providing riders with opportunities for food and fun, along with a peaceful rest at the end of each day.
